Grown at the peak of El Vergel Estate by Elias and Shady Bayter, this coffee comes from a micro-lot that merges four genetic branches of Gesha, then undergoes Carbonic Maceration, a unique process adding depth and complexity to its profile.
Brian, our coffee manager, emphasizes its extraordinary floral profile. “The moment it’s ground, there’s a burst of chamomile aroma,” Though light, Gesha Marcela isn’t overly acidic. It gracefully combines floral notes with fruity sweetness, evolving into lychee and plum acidity, and finishing with pronounced florals as it cools. Roasted responsibly by Coffee & Water Lab using the eco-efficient Bellwether All‑Electric Roaster that cuts down on the carbon footprint. So not only does it taste amazing, but it’s also kind to the planet.
